Hazel went to Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan to study international business studies. She then traveled to the other side of the world, Buffalo, NY, to finish her degree in Psychology. Her continuous interest and passion in finance put her into the financial services industry right out of college, and this led her mastering a curriculum of around 100 financial planning topics in pursuit of the CFP designation.
Hazel joined Astorino Financial Group in 2019. She has 6 years of experience in a variety of firms, including Prudential and MassMutual. She has extensive knowledge in risk management and estate planning. Hazel puts priority in comprehensive wealth management approach when it comes to looking at the holistic financial picture. She has been a qualified member of Million Dollar Round Table in 2016 and 2017.
She knows exactly what it’s like to work in a male-focused industry. That’s when she took an interest in working with professional women. She is inspired to empower and educate women to make better financial decisions. She has helped with countless divorced women and widows that are going through emotional hardships focus on their financial path even through tough life transitions. She is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, who has the knowledge and experience to assist after a major life transition.
Hazel is a committee member of Financial Women Association and a member of Hudson County Chamber of Commerce. She loves traveling with her husband and going to a dog park with her dog, BB.
She also speaks Korean fluently.
